The visit of Nicolas El Baze - 2011
Nicolas El Baze accepted to be the first guest speaker and advisor for Gemini Solutions at Theo Nissim's invitation.
To conjure up a carrer profile: Nicolas El Baze joined Partech International in 2000 and is focusing on the developement of venture-funded start-up companies in software and internet. He is a successful entrepreneur and before Partech he spent 15 years as manager and co-founder of several companies, some of them later sold to large companies (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Sun). He is presently in the boards of several companies: Atlantis Computing, Getinsured.com, Racktivity, Replay Solutions, and Rockyou.
During this friendly and interactive meeting with the Gemini Solutions team, Mr. Nicolas El Baze explained in detail the functionality of a Silicon Vally system, where the funds come from, how money is administered, what it means to be an entrepreneur (including unslept nights), the world of start-ups, industry trends, etc.
We have had the pleasure and priviledge to understand the vision upon the dynamics of software companies, of management systems and of placement strategies for start-ups in the orbit of international success.
